The simply designed Casio G-Shock Classic digital watch for men offers shock resistance that's great for your most vigorous sporting activities. The durable rectangular black watch case measures 45mm wide (1.77 inches), and it's matched to a comfortable black resin sports strap. I have had this watch for over 3 years and have yet to change the battery. I wear it every day. It runs a hair fast but better fast than slow. Still looks new and i never wear it in the shower even thou it water proof, just to reduce wear. I even brought one for my son over 3 years ago and will buy one more for my oldest in a few days. I have owned 3 or 4 Casios, this one is the best. I bet 10 years from now i will still be wearing it. You can not go wrong with this watch, looks great and runs better.

Just bought the watch for daily use and I love it. It looks nice and its very well built like all G-shock watches I've had before.

I have only had this G-SHOCK DW-9052 for a few week's so far but I have to say it is built very well. I think it is built as well as many of the much higher priced G-SHOCKS. I have banged it around and totally submerged it in water without a single problem. I wear it so much more often then I thought I would, even more often than my much more expensive watches. It is very comfortable and has pleanty of band for larger wrist's. I have a 8 and a 1/4 inch wrist and have 4 or 5 holes left on the band depending on how snug I want to ware it. AMAZON has the best price on this one with free shipping. I paid $6 and change more for mine at another retailer and still think I got a GREAT deal. If you want another G-SHOCK for your collection, or if this will be your first G-SHOCK the DW-9052 is a must have!

I love this watch since its a g shock and i like the black and red color and the price is amazing but the watch band doesnt qiute fit me its either to tight or slides on my wrist but other than that its a great watch
its also my first watch too so maybe i dont know good watches but in my opinion its a good watch.
i finnaly got my watch in the mail as i've been anxiously waiting for it. So far the build quality looks nice and if there are any problems i will update this review.

This watch isn't too big, and unless you have tiny wrists, it won't look funny. What else can you expect for a watch that has all these functions? I've been a life long admirer of Casio's watches, and this one is the coolest one I've owned so far. This is a very well put together watch and it is solid as a rock. If you haven't owned a Casio watch before, don't even think that the price is too high, because this watch is worth every penny and you probably won't have buyer's remorse.

This watch is a very good watch. I bought this for style, reliablility, and because no batteries. I have worn this watch since I recieved it and it does everything I expected it too. I really enjoy Casio's they have an excellent reputation in keeping time, and relaiability. It I had more money, I see a few more that I wouldn't mind buying!
Excellent watch....definetly recommend it to anyone who is needing a strong, stylish watch.

First and foremost, do not expect to be able to just put it on and it will work properly. Like anything that costs a bit more, you have to read the instructions. So if you cannot follow directions then you will have a heck of a time trying to use it. I took it on a test run just so I could get a feel for it.

The only problem I had with it was that it wasn't connecting to the satelites in order for the GPS to work. I had to go back in and re-read the instructions.

*Note- If you want to use the GPS, make sure the power save mode is off because that mode interferes with the satelites.*

Once I figured out the satelites, it took several minutes for the watch to locate them, which kind of sucks if its cold outside. You have to stand still until it picks up on the satelites.
Also, make sure the GPS is turned off while you are inside because it will try to connect to the satelites and use up your battery life.

There are so many neat features on this watch but what I thought was so cool was auto-pause setting. This feature will pause your watch if you get below a certain speed. This is good for when you are at stoplights.
I also liked how the watch is set up to transmit your watch data wirelessly. Once transmitted, you can go on garmin connect and view your results.

This is a complicated device, but once you have it all set up and figured out, it's very easy to use. I really recommend this watch to anyone who wants something that will help them with their training and to track their progress.

I love this watch ! It's a great all around watch - as I use it for fun and for work.

I travel for work and the dual time zone (Local Time) feature is super. I change the time to my destination when I enter the plane and I can then use the destination local time for my arrival and other appointments.

The hands are easy to read in most light conditions. The band is very comfortable.
The Solar Feature keeps the need for a battery replacement a distant possibility. The quartz movement is very accurate.

I do not use the alarm feature much, but it's available if desired.
I highly recommend this watch!!

Really like this watch. All components are high quality and the watch looks nice with dress or casual wear. The strap is very stiff but is starting to loosen up with use. Wish Citizen had replaced the 1/20 second dial with a day indicator as I don't use the tachymeter function and would have preferred to have the day of week indicated. I have no problem reading any of the dial info and although the watch looks heavy, the titanium case keeps everthing light. Proud to have this as part of my collection.

I am only buying light powered watches as I usually keep 5 to 10 watches in my collection at a time. Battery replacement was becoming a real hassle not to mention a considerable expense (my Tag Heuer costs me $250.00 every 2-3 yrs for battery replacements).

I got this watch because I work construction and spend alot of time outdoors and I have abused and tore up many watches. This watch has stood up to the punishment! A little frustrating getting it set up, but a fantastic piece once it is set to go.
